 All plants I sell are either propagated and grown from my personal stock, or imported and rehabbed until they have new leaf and root growth, and are all set to thrive in a new home

All plants are rooted unless otherwise mentioned in the description. 

If you see a white powder on the roots, when I transplant I use a mycorrhizae dip which is beneficial for nutrient uptake and plant health and growth. It doesn’t need to be rinsed off or removed, the plant will use it up eventually!

I generally ship with the plant taken out of the pot and slid into a compostable nursery bag- I can close the bag around the lower stem of the plant so moss/dirt doesn’t get all over, and since it isn’t rigid, it’s just in general easier to ship. I do use stiff paper, corrugated cardboard, and polyfil. I also recycle things like newspapers to use as stuffing to prevent waste.
